A Sudden Change of Season

We have all experienced a sudden change of season that results in plans diverted or reversed. But a change of season that takes a life or drastically effects the quality of ones life is beyond understanding at times and can leave one emotionally exhausted and unable to ask for help or prayer.
Today I am mindful of so many who are going through difficult seasons of change.

May I ask you to pray with me for a few precious ladies who in just this past week:
• … have become widows due to a sudden unexpected death of their husbands
• … are going through the shock of an initial cancer diagnosis and beginning treatment
• … managing hospice care while enjoying meaningful moments with her spouse
• … I realize there are many more (please feel free to email via the contact page to share prayer requests confidentially of course).

May I also ask and encourage each of us to not only respond to a need with prayer but if able to send a note, provide help, resources or some gesture to show others going through a difficult season that Jesus is loving them through us. I have no doubt that you know of someone who is experiencing a sudden change of seasons in their own life, or perhaps it is you, and in that case please let me know via email or in the comments so I can pray for you.

From my own experience nearly 11 months ago when my husband was dying I was covered in prayer, I could feel it! The resources, cards, help and love I experienced from near and far away meant so very much to me then and still does today!

Becoming a Widow has been the most difficult journey, season, chapter or experience of my life. I will share more on this later, as I am most certainly still very much a work in progress learning how to live this new way of life without my husband. But in the meantime I cannot lose site of so many who are suddenly experiencing a difficult change of season in their own lives and praying for them is something I can do now.

May the love of our Heavenly Father be experienced through all of us to these ladies and others who are going through a difficult journey or change if season.

For everything there is a season, A time for every activity under heaven.
A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to harvest.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
